 My name is holly & love to bake & cook. I have zero professional training, just a lot of trial & error, scouring cookbooks & fellow foodbloggers. all photos have been taken & edited by yours truly.

I really love eating bad food. Visions of cupcakes with ulterior motives are popping in my head. But by “bad,” I mean anything covered in frosting, cheese, or butter. Just please, not all of those together—that’s nasty. Anyway, due to my love of delicious thunder-thigh-causing unhealthy food, I decided a few years ago that I probably needed to get control of my love handles life and live a healthier lifestyle. In obtaining a healthier lifestyle, I had a major aha moment when I realized I am an “all or nothing” kind of girl and cannot have just one doughnut or one cookie every once in a while to satisfy my cravings.

That is when I decided I would have one day a week to go buck wild and eat everything in sight—whatever I wanted—and keep a strict, clean diet six days a week. In doing this, I have maintained my 30 lbs. weight loss for the last five years. (Go me!)
